Ibiza is a hedonist of a city. Being the capital of the tiny island it receives most of the tourist attention and love. It is here you will discover more nightclubs, restaurants and bars on a square meter than anywhere else. It seems like Ibiza was created for a non-stop partying.

Apart from the lively atmosphere the city enjoys the great location set on top of a small hill. All in all, Ibiza has three main areas: the harbour and the Sa Peña quarter, the old city within the walls and the new city. Each one has its own character and, for sure, is worth exploring.

You have to try hard to get disoriented in Ibiza. All parts of the city are at your fingerprints and easily reachable. From the Ferry Terminal head to the old streets of the Sa Pena quarter that will bring you up to the walled old city D'Alt Vila. There are a number of medieval buildings, including the impressive tower of the Cathedral. Visitors will discover probably the best restaurants, hotels and apartments here.

But if you are up to cheaper options we recommend you to go down the harbour or to one of the suburbs or other villages on the island. Southward from Ibiza Town you will find the suburbs of Figueretas and Playa d'en Bossa. Both feature sandy beaches, bars and restaurants.
